    Crystal Gold Mine Museum

    This sit is an authentic 1880s gold mine was rediscovered in 1991 and eventually reopened as a museum. A guided underground tour explains how miners drilled, traced veins and tested for gold. Underground mine tours, museum and gift shop are open all year with seasonal gold panning.

    Lemhi Pass
    Lemhi Pass is considered by many to be the most important site on the Lewis and Clark National Historic trail, as it was here that hopes of a Northwest Passage died and the expedition turned towards the Rocky Mountains. A memorial dedicated to Sacajawea, the expedition's Shoshone interpreter, is located near the pass.

    White Bird Battlefield
