McCall Winter festival has been running since it was first created in 1924, when the largest train ever to come to McCall arrived. The festival was introduced as a treat for the 248 passengers. Today it consists of ten days of winter activities including dog sledding, snowshoe golf, skiing and more.

The Word "TUBAPALOOZA" means: “To Party Hard with Great Live Music, Homemade Cardboard Sleds, DownHill Kayaks Races and Bon-Fires in the spring, at a Tubing Hill."
And This Year's Festival Means Just That! This year will feature the Traditional "Cardboard Sled Derby", The Exciting "Face-2-Face, Down Hill Kayak Races", Great Live Music Performed by Regional Artist, A Hair-Raising Display of Fire Dancers, Plus Food & Drink for the Whole Family!
